Connect Group Lead Host Application

Connect Groups are a part of the Small Groups here at Calvary. Small Groups are the CORE of Calvary. As Calvary grows, so do our Small Groups. Small Groups help us to see — Our vision: Connecting Christ to our Community and Our values: Love. Grow. Serve. Go. 

 The application process for becoming a Connect Group Lead Host is quick and easy. Once you fill out the form below, the Connect Group Leadership team will be in contact with you regarding your group and the status of it. You will be provided with training and material to help you have a successful semester!

Please take a moment and review the basic guidelines for Connect Groups before you apply:
 
• All applications are subject to the church Connect Group Leadership team approval.
• The goals of a Connect Group are to get to know other church members better, to strengthen the unity of our church, and to invite and connect guests (non-regular church attendees).
• All Hosts agree to abide by Pastor and church guidelines.
• All groups will have at least two hosts – a Lead Host and an Assistant Host. The reason is for accountability, safety and group coverage.
• From the planning stage, it is important to involve your Assistant Host in group decisions.
• Groups are available for individuals 12 years old and above unless otherwise stated.  If a group permits members younger than 12 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must accompany and be responsible for the child.
• Each Connect Group must have a minimum of 3 individuals and a maximum of 20 individuals per group. The Lead Host, Assistant Host, and guests are not included in these totals.
• It is preferable that groups meet at locations away from Calvary Church to get Connect Groups immersed in our communities. However, if this is not possible, please contact the Admin Team at admin@cacdenver.org for approval first.
• Connect Group meeting dates cannot conflict with superseding items on the church calendar. If questions, please contact the Admin Team.

The information provided for this question is for internal review approval purposes.

Please provide a description for how you would like your group activity described for promotional purposes to potential group members.
